Nick, Founder of The Garage Refresh Company

I founded The Garage Refresh Company after spending nearly a decade in Southern California following my enlistment with the United States Navy, where I served as a Seabee at Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme. I kept noticing the same thing everywhere I went: the garage was always the first space of a home to get filled up, but the last to get any attention. I started this company with one simple mission in mind: to give people back the space they've been meaning to reclaim.

I'm not a franchise. I'm not a national chain. I'm a local, veteran-owned business with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction. Every job is handled professionally with the same discipline and attention to detail that military service demands.

A few things people usually wonder before they call us for the first time.

We primarily serve Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, but we're happy to consider jobs further out for an additional travel fee. Just reach out and we can discuss.
Pricing starts based on the size of the garage and the amount of work involved: how much needs to be removed, how much sorting and organizing is needed, and whether items are being hauled away. Every garage is different, so the best way to get an accurate price is a quick conversation or a free estimate. See our Refresh, Revive, and Reclaim packages above for starting rates.
You don't need to be home while we're pulling items out and cleaning the empty garage. It's helpful, though, to be there while we sort through what should be kept versus thrown away, so we recommend being home for that part. When it's time to put everything back and organize, a quick walkthrough showing us where things go is all that's needed. After that you're free to step away while we finish up.
We can take almost everything: furniture, boxes, appliances, general clutter, and construction debris. The only items we don't haul are hazardous materials such as paint, motor oil, antifreeze, pesticides, and batteries, which require disposal through Ventura County's Household Hazardous Waste program. If you have items like these, let us know in advance. Many of these items can actually be dropped off for free at local collection sites, and we're happy to point you in the right direction.
Yes. We bring everything needed: bins, tools, cleaning supplies, and our own truck for hauling. You don't need to provide anything.
Typically a week's notice for garage cleaning, but we can work around your schedule. Junk removal can often be done same day or next day. For commercial accounts, we're happy to work out a schedule that fits your needs.
Yes, we do.
The Garage Refresh Company LLC is a registered California business and carries commercial general liability insurance. We are not a licensed contractor. Cleaning, organizing, junk removal, and pressure washing do not require a contractor's license. Painting does, so we keep every painting job at $1,000 or less including materials, exactly as California law allows (B&P §7048).
